Medical Directors and Practice Principals

Dr Brendan Kelly & Dr Daniel Leahy

Dr Daniel Leahy and Dr Brendan Kelly are both UWA trained Doctors who completed their fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and who bring over 50 years combined experience in general practice and general practice management.

A combined 10 years experience in rural general practice and Karratha Hospital on call emergency department work give the Directors a wide and varied breadth of clinical experience. Taking over the old Reynolds Rd 7 Day Medical Centre building on the corner of Reynolds Rd and Canning Hway in 2001 they have overseen the growth of the practice, the move down to Canning Bridge whilst the new Woolworths complex was built over two years and the return to their “spiritual home” at the original site in August of 2019. The new state of the art practice and expanded services are the culmination of knowledge and experience gleaned from more than 6 previous medical centres they have managed.

Their simple mantra was and continues to be to strive to provide a professional practice that offers affordable access to quality medical care, 7 days per week.
